North East Biosolids and Residuals Association (NEBRA)
Here, you will find technical, science-based information on the recycling of biosolids and other residuals. You will also find links to additional information available from other organizations around the region and the nation.

National Biosolids Partnership
The goal of the National Biosolids Partnership (NBP), a not-for-profit alliance formed in 1997 with the Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies (AMSA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is to advance environmentally sound and accepted biosolids management practices. Biosolids producers, service contractors, and users – together with stakeholders from regulatory agencies, universities, the farming community, and environmental organizations – will have input into shaping NBP priorities through scientific and technical support and communications linkages relating to biosolids issues.

Northwest Biosolids Management Association (NBMA)
The mission of the Northwest Biosolids Management Association is to advance environmentally sound biosolids management.

Members of the Northwest Biosolids Management Association (NBMA) support the beneficial use of biosolids and have joined forces to meet the challenge of finding safe, economical ways to manage biosolids. The organization's purpose is to share knowledge about biosolids management between member agencies and companies; local, state and federal regulators; and the general public.

FiberClay® Council
Members of The FiberClay® Council are primarily in the business of making paper products from recycling. They have come together to get the message out about a new co-product that is also manufactured as recyclable paper is processed in their paper making facilities. The association has brand named this new product "FiberClay®" it's a tested and proven new product with a myriad of commercial and consumer uses.

N.E. Water Environment Assoc. (NEWEA)
New England Water Environment Association is a membership organization for water and wastewater professionals and associated businesses and non-profit organizations throughout New England.  NEWEA offers seminars, conferences, research, publications and many other support services.

United States Composting Council (USCC)
The USCC is a trade and professional organization promoting compost. We provide a unified voice for the growing composting industry.

The US Composting Council is involved in research, public education, composting and compost standards, expansion of compost markets and the enlistment of public support.

New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA)
The New York Water Environment Association, Inc. (NYWEA) was founded in 1929, by professionals in the field of water quality as a non-profit, educational organization. Association members helped lead the way toward existing state and national clean water programs. Today the Association has over 2,500 members representing diverse backgrounds and specialties, but all are concerned and involved with protecting and enhancing our precious water resources. 

Maine WasteWater Control Association (MWWCA)
The Maine WasteWater Control Association is an association of over 650 members consisting of municipal and industrial operators, consultants, students, and regulatory officials. The MWWCA represents over 95 wastewater treatment plants serving over 125 communities throughout the state. It is governed by an executive Committee consisting of the Chairs of various committees including Education, Residuals management, Government Affairs, Awards, Collection Systems, Communications, Conventions, Industrial Operations, Laboratory, Personnel Advancement, Pretreatment, Safety and Public Relations. 

Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS)
Since 1935, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (originally called the Soil Conservation Service) has provided leadership in a partnership effort to help America's private land owners and managers conserve their soil, water, and other natural resources.  Agency of the US Department of Agriculture. 

BioCycle Magazine
BioCycle – The Only Magazine Advancing Composting, Organics Recycling & Renewable Energy. Published since 1960, BioCycle is America’s foremost magazine on composting and organics recycling. BioCycle shows you how to turn organic residuals — woody materials, yard trimmings, municipal solid waste (MSW), food residuals, biosolids, manure and other feedstocks into value-added products.
