2004, Hawk Ridge Compost Facility receives the United States Composting Council's Composter of the Year Award. On hand to receive this award were Facility Manager, George Belmont and Product Marketing Manager, John Kelly. The Governor’s Awards for Environmental Excellence are presented to businesses, organizations, and individuals whose outstanding efforts exemplify and promote environmental excellence.
